We are different,
Like night and day,
Like sand to shore,
Like here and away.

We are different,
Like sunset and sunrise,
Like black and white,
Like girls and guys.

We are different,
Like hot and cold,
Like rain and sleet,
Like young and old.

We are different,
Like low and high,
Like loud and quiet,
Like ground and sky.

We are different,
Like windows and doors,
Like dogs and cats,
Like ceilings and floors.

We are different,
Like stop and go,
Like left and right,
Like yes and no.

We are different,
Like fiction and fact,
Like now and then,
But opposites attract.
